Default Recent BRC LPFG conversion !

Just had my S8 converted to gas with a new BRC system. I have included a few pictures of the conversion, which in my opinion is a reasonably neat install. I hope you all agree !

I have to be honest too, there is a feel good factor here ..... it feels great driving down the road on fuel at 77p/litre rather than at approx. £140/litre. LOL

I managed to squeeze a 120l tank in the boot and got them to put the filler inside the normal flap as I personally didn't want it on my panel or bumper.

All opinions and thoughts appreciated !

Very tidy, I like the filler concealed under the flap

Only the interior button lets that down ,it ruined a good bit of trim there .
I would have liked it better if they had used the spare light adjustment blanking plate you can see just next to the washer stalk.

That's just me ,apart from that its a great install.

Bit odd given the blank switchplate in the same picture... Maybe it's a visibilty issue?

If the interior button is the only thing that lets it down I'm happy ! Ha !

Its actually my fault, not the installers. I asked him to put it there. When we discussed where to put it, I wanted it to be visible without moving my head as such, and it was the only place I could see it easily without having to go looking for it ! The blanking plate your talking about wasn't in my field of viewing from my driving position.

I'm happy where it is but can appreciate where your coming from regarding the blank switch plate !

Big question is.... who can guess how many miles I will get from my first fill ? I'm really interested to see !

I stupidly filled the car with both petrol and gas as I thought it might be a good idea to see how long the petrol tank lasted, but I think that was a big mistake. It will never get used up ! LOL. Plus I'm carrying around a full tank of petrol which I'd also imagine wont help my mpg figure due the extra weight.

Will know for the next time I suppose...... live and learn !

Shouldn't really have a stuffed parrot in the car on the dash - a bit dangerous IMHO.
