I've now got VCDS lite only, how do I test the motors? As I said I'm a bit of a newbie and becasue I can't see a big button that is labelled 'click here to test the motors' I'm a bit lost!!

Don't think the Lite version lets you run the tests. You should have an 'output tests' button on the screen when you access the HVAC unit.

Not sure about free Lite version but registered(or hacked) version let you do output tests
