2007 3.0 Tdi exhaust type thingy ??
Hello everyone
I have had my air box out on my 57 plate A8 3.0 Tdi to fit hids Underneath it there looked like a small exhaust pipe near to the chassis leg,with what looked like corrugated heat shielding around the top of it Anyone know what this is,I thought it would be the auxiliary heater but cannot find the option on the MMI ? And do not have a separate remote control Any thoughts appreciated Regards Andy

It will be for auxiliary heater, you cannot find settings in MMI because it is only auxiliary heater not parking heater. It is working when engine is working and cold to help engine war up. You cannot switch it on on-demand, you need parking heater option/upgrade for that
