Thank you. I used Castrol Magnatec (C3) Engine Oil - 5W-30 which is VW 502 00/ 505 00.
I have checked that before using it also audi webside recommends it. But not knowing if audi dealer put 0w30, 5w30, 5w40, 10w40 and there is too much confuson I went for the 5w30 C3.

I would like to still get as much opinions on what oil to use as my A8 is 3.7 petrol than more common TDI.

There is too much confusion on the engine oil especially when the manual says something different
