Adjusting toe as Dezzy says will reduce the effect a bit.

Once again not guarantees!!!!!!!!
Thanks again Mike...my Mum always said I was special but I have come to the conclusion that you are even more special than me!

I hear what you say Mike but they did not mention camber specifically, use a Beissbarth computerised 4WD alignment system and specialize in VAG Group vehicles with particular to TT, S4/6, RS4/6 & R8 and I have confidence in these guys.

The car originally had 18" wheels and was originally 4WD aligned on those before changing shortly after to the genuine (but refurbed) Audi 20" alloys shod with brand new Michelins if that might make a difference?

I had already replaced one pair of front tyres due to the steel being exposed at the inside of the tread while having the rest of the tread looking like new!

I replaced those at a cost of £547 (and have just been quoted £598 locally for another pair...can anyone recommend another supplier who might be better on price but who more importantly is capable of doing a good job?) but when I went back to get the car 4WD aligned they were unable to adjust anything due to something 'spinning round' and recommended replacing what I took to be control arms?

<wishing I had taken more notice at the time>

Strangely the later tyres don't seem to have worn as bad...

ISTR seeing that 8's were particularly heavy on front suspension and it is common to have to replace some components...I assumed these were the items referred to but I do need to check it out...

WHile i was shopping for parts I thought I would add these to my list...

Thanks again Mike...much appreciated.

Kind regards,
