City lights

I had my headlight out yesterday fixing a bad hid ballast - I notice there is plenty of room for me to drill a hole and add a city light. I already have the light - any suggestions on how to wire it?

I was thinking of wiring it directly to the parking light, so that when their on - it's on. Does anyone have experience with this mod?
