Is this the correct AMI that I need for a D3?

Ok I managed to come across this AMI kit and placed an order for it:

The part numbers seem to be the same as the other one, but this worked out £35 less compared to the other.
Ok, so am I right in thinking that I can fit this AMI next to the CD changer in the right side cubby hole?

If so, do I need to take out the glove compartment, or is it a straight forward thing to do?

(Sorry I haven't got a clue, I'm buying my first ever Audi quite soon and just want the AMI for the icing on the cake.)
