That's cheap
 I'd be looking for a carpet whipper (someone that will whip the edges of carpet). Find some decent quality carpet off cuts to make rugs. Lots of carpet suppliers offer this service. I think you'd be able to buy a carpet whipping machine for the cost of a mat.
