The hardlock emulator gets around the requirement for a dongle, which official users have as part of their licence. It only works on 32 bit OS so if you have a 64 bit PC that may be the reason for the error. The workaround to that is to install ETKA in a Virtual Machine (I use VMWare Workstation) with a 32 bit operating system installed. Anything beyond XP in a 32 bit flavour will do.
If your OS is 32 bit, try manually disabling the hardlock emulator and restarting it. Run: ETKA\PROG\hldrv32.exe Run: ETKA\PROG\emulator.exe Stop (bottom button) Reboot Run: ETKA\PROG\emulator.exe Start (top button)
