KESSY on 2006

hi guys,

ever since I bought the car KESSY never worked [which didn't bother me much] but with Christmas approaching I though I might buy myself a gift and, i.e. sort it out .

I did do couple scans over a period of time and each and every time it complaints about R108 antenna... I tried the fuse box as well as disconnect/reconnect with contact spray etc. which didn't do much. Assuming I may need a new antennae is this something that can be done as straight swap or it needs coding?
