Default Air supension overhaul

Hi there,

Have a few faults with the air suspension, so i've set about overhauling it!

First thing was the compressor!

This was helpful

But mine is quite different (A8 PF 4.2 Sport). It's in roughly the same place, but it's rotated 90 degrees to this and in the lower section. I have a two pairs of 3 blue plastic air pods there. I found popping the fog light grill off and some judicious use of socket extension bars I could get it out without needing to part remove the bumper, though handy to have a second pair of hands ocasionally, particularly when putting it back together.

I used this

To refurb the compressor. It's £25 delivered and seems a good kit, though i've yet to fully test and my cyclinder did have a little scoring so I will have to see how it lasts.

Next to have a look at the Valve as I have an intermitent error on that (same wheel arch, other side)

Lee
