Another back garden building site
I've started driveway building. My little digger i bought last year has already proved it's self to be awesome but only came with 1 bucket @ 300mm wide. So i've been busy making digger buckets and stuff. Because the internet is awesome and that there are other nutters out there i have the instructions and sales lit for my little digger from the 80's. From that i now have the sizes of the original buckets 200, 300 i have, 400 and 600 wide, they all follow the same shape and as i already have an original i templated it to card.
I modelled the buckets in Inventor and sent the plate parts to a local company that cut it all on the laser for me. Then just a matter of welding it all up and splashing a bit of primer on them. Cad model 600 wide bucket primed and ready to go Bucket fitted to the digger and getting dirty. Something that wasn't available from new is a Ripper. Now that took a bit more in the way welding as the main tine is 15mm thk and the rest 10mm a few hours and many multi runs later a test fit. has been given a coat of primer since then and will take another.
