I hope you've made a claim.
Friend of mine recently had a wheel damaged (beyond repair) by a pothole and managed to get the cost of a new wheel and suspension re-alignment back from the council. I believe the pothole has to be a certain depth and you'll need photos of it too. The amount of claims they get, I'm sure it'd be a lot cheaper to repair the damn potholes
