W12 air filter, genuine or K&N

Spring is coming and that means the a8 will be back on the road

Away to change the air filters and a few other bits, should I go genuine or aftermarket?

Think I read somewhere a while ago that the K&N filters let in more fine dust ect because they are "high flow" filters, and that this can damage internals.
