Default D2 front suspension arms

Hi

I spent today doing the front lower arms, anti roll bar links, front wheel bearings and the rear upper arms on my S8. Whilst doing this I had a good heave at the lower rears. They looked fine, were solid when flexed to2wards or from the bolt mount/shell end but were very easy to flex from side to side when sideways force was applied at the track rod end.

Does anybody know if this is part of the bush design or whether this means they are clapped?

Because the car came with 20's as standard the lower arms are special order from Germany (TRW are the OEM manufacturers and the only after market one) so they're not to be replaced lightly!

Thanks!

Duffy
