Default What is this new fangled rnsd and e about then?

Well I'm looking to join the 21st century and have a more modern car. I have no idea what any of the kit in it does other than the bose makes it go thumpy thumpy better. (A very funny PM has made me realise that I should clarify that this last statement is ironic, i'm a home cinema nerd with an AX10ai running an adequate 7.1 setup and two active subs. Total amplification at 8ohms in RMS is measured in kilowatts. Keeps the room warm in winter lol)
What's the sat nav like in a 2001 s8? How much worse than my six month old big screen tomtom? postcodes?
Sound quality compared to the standard hifi in a 97 a8?
TV on the move, worth sorting out or a pain in the bum?

what neat stuff did you put in that was actually good and not just a toy?

A curious Bill

Edit to add: I should probably dig out the manual for it shouldn't I? Probably available as a pdf somewhere?
