Sorry to hear about the D4, gutting.
 I'm also eager to read part two. However, I am sure if you had the car detailed (forgot the Supagaurd crap) it will come out defect free, detailing and mopping are two different concepts. A guy that mops a car carelessly looks to remove scratches and hazing whilst inflicting loads of swirls, a detailer will treat the car like their own and find defects that you probably couldn't find without the use of a 'sun gun' or similair. It will set you back (or the dealer for that matter) around £500 at least I would say, possibly more but the results would be worth it. Read this thread for more info...
