That's true, not forgetting how many leaps and bounds oil has come along since 1998 though! A good 5w40 or 0w40 I'm sure would keep the engine right.
Who's to say that crappy oil cooler bolted behind everything lets the oil heat up too much in certain driving conditions? Anybody ever installed a temp guage to find out?
