Used S8 mirror upgrade - electric adjustment not working?

Hello again guys, my newly bought used S8 mirrors from A8 parts does not move eventhough I have fitted them in the same sockets as the original. Does anyone have an idea what I might have done wrong?

Carl from A8 parts said that this upgrade was just plug and play... I would rathwr have the electric adjustment working than having to move them by hand from the outside. Eventhough I only use the passengers side adjustment when I paralell park... I still think its a step down not to have it

So I need a fix, any help would be appriciated
