For the first time....
... I reached the magic 23 mpg in my S8 
I've done over 12000 miles since January and this is the first trip (calculated by fuel volume to fill up at the pump and the trip miles since the last fill up) that I've hit 23mpg (23.09!). It was a run down to M74/M6 to Stafford and back.
Overall average for 38 visits to the pumps (nearly always BP Ultimate) is 21.33 and the worst tank full was just 19.06mpg. The DIS display shows better fuel consumption than this method, which I think is more accurate.
I know - I need to get out more!
