My '08 D3 did that. I think it's the constant heating and cooling that eventually causes the fabric to give up it's friction grip ass it was not glued - in my case anyway.
I took it all off and use a little spray glue very sparingly on the fabric to hold it in place. It's been OK for a year or more and no sign it's been sorted
