Water leak into cabin from front interior light....

Hi all.
Last week, I got into my car, after plenty of rain, and noticed there was a drip of water from the fwd interior light lens/surround and at the top of the 'A' posts and the bottom of the nearside'A' post.
When the first dry day came, a couple of days later, I opened the sunroof to check the sunroof drains. I syringed water into the 2 fwd drain holes and it came out, just as quick, at the outputs at each fwd door frame area.
Which leads to my question.............has anyone else experienced this?
I don't understand how the water got to where it did....any ideas folks?
