Default sensor cables and brackets

My brake pad warning light has been coming on randomly over the last week.

I got the car up on the ramps over the weekend and noticed the sensor cables was as tight as a guitar string, the bracket that they clip in to seems bent to make the cables reach.

I'll double check the receipts but I think it was halfords that changed the pads last.
Before I contact them I want to make sure what I'm seeing is right or wrong.

Is anyone able to get a picture or confirm the correct routing, length and shape of the bracket at the back of the callipers please?
