I'm with you Manny. Maybe owners are holding on to well spec early D3's if nothing is wrong with the car. I generally take a browse of 'recently added' cars and that one I posted seemed to fit ulfilias choice being a petrol 4.2

A petrol 4.2 really needs LPG to make it viable. I'm curious about the diesel but have been told to avoid the 4.0. The 4.2 TDI is nice, but they seem to be that bit younger and hold thier value and come in 8K+ which is at the top of my current budget and for that i'd want B&O.
I wonder about the 3.0TDI and if the slightly lower performance would matter, however they also tend to come low spec'd. I'm still tempted with this one as i quite like it and wondering on a low ball offer! |

Its probably cheaper to LPG convert the right car, than buy a wrong un just because it happens to be already on gas imo....

IT - Indeed. Though you're talking about £1500 i'd guess to convert a V8 with a reasonable installer, yet doesn't seem to make a huge difference on the purchase price of a vehicle from what i've seen.
I'm not sure it is a bad un so to speak. I've been through a lot of bits I got, the MOTs add up, there are a couple of few weeks gaps between one or two, but I've done that with my cars. It needs a couple of bits sorting and then it would be a pretty good match for what I would like! I probably need to go back and have a second look at a few bits! |

Just popped next door, who are car dealers and they did me a HPI check, clean apart from a plate transfer. Only 3 former owners. Last one admitedly only had it since april (seem to recall it was traded in with a 206 in for it + cash, probably found it a bit expensive/big for them)

Ok....Curious. The HPI revealed it's prior number plate, WV05JEJ....Doing a search on this came up with an article on here which mattylondon posted. It was at a BCA Auction in Bedford in March!!!
http://forum.a8parts.co.uk/showpost....5&postcount=24 There's a spec and pics and apraisal form, which show it in full silver, clear windows, silver wheels and 123,067 mileage, which is pretty close to the 123,134 MOT milage in April 2015. So thats checking out! |
