My drive to work is about 10 miles and 15 minutes and mine has probably warmed up halfway there, so about 7-10 minutes. That's mainly dual carriageway though and at 70mph (1800 rpm) but first 2 miles are through a couple of villages in a 30 zone. Can be a bit longer if its cold but not cold enough to fire up the aux heater (say 8 to 10 degrees). If it's like that I manually start my aux heater and then it's only 5 minutes to warm up. 15 minutes could be OK. Can time mine on Monday if you want with ambient temps etc? Also, do you have VDCS? You could test the aux heater and also enable the hidden menu and code in the aux heating AC menu, where you can manually start the aux heater.
