Just to annoy all you young guns, I got my '08 A8L Fully Comp with only £350 excess for £206 - I kid you not!
That's Swiftcover and we had a claim with them by my wife last year which they handled A-OK, so I know they are fine if needed. I'm so happy...... ![]() Stew, |

Hi Oli
If it was for speeding, it shouldn't make any difference, or at least it made no difference with any of the companies I have used in the past. Although currently clean, at one point I had 3 (for speeding & almost expired) then copped a 6 pointer for speeding, so had 9 for a short while, this made no difference to the premium, so I wouldn't panic too much. (The only hassle I got was with the DVLA who wrote me a rather snotty letter regarding my HGV1 licence, but a few well placed angry words sorted that out)

Not all the time. I get to go home every 2 or 3 weekends or so. I'm down for a week at Witson. Pop over if you want.

I was with Bell Direct and was quoted about the £350 mark - did the Meerkat.com search and Swiftcover came up at £206 with a lot less excess too.
