I would suggest that you need to start and run the car before taking another scan. I am not too sure how this works but it seems to me that even if you clear the fault codes it still stores the fault condition unless its been through a "self check" on next being used and hence raises a fault code. I may be talking bollox here but I have found that I have needed to start/run the car to stop the DTC appearing again. Someone with vastly more knowledge may well be along to put me right.
