Please no Christmas car tinsel James
 Nothing between the car and the tree except the netting and my reasons for this are: i) I have a glass sunroof where the bulk of the weight was. ii) She will be getting a lovely detailing session in the summer  To be honest I知 more surprised that no one has asked how I gained access to the car   Edit: forgot to mention that only an A8/S8 can make a 9+ foot tree look small Tree now fully erect.
