Never filled a gearbox on an S8 before, is it the type with a fill hole and you pump it in until it dribbles out?

As in 3 or 4 litres in the box and what should be 3 or 4 in the sump?

Finally whilst the old girl does look black in the photo she is in fact Ming Blue!
