Well....Whilst it didn't take much in the way of brake fluid, I've not had the flash occur since, so I think it was fluid!
I've just had a bit of a play with the ABS with VCDS and an old version of VCP (5 or 6) - I tried logging in, resetting and recoding all with reasonable success. However i've not been able to clear the fault. I think it is some sort of bit set in software rather than an actual fault with it. I hoped adaption / coding would sort it but NOPE. I'm guessing a software flash probably would, but I can't seem to find how or where to do this apart from specialist shops / Audi It's an irritation, but i'll live! Lee
