I've seen quite a few companies doing classic car EV retrofits. Mainly smaller cars though, minis etc. The D", being Ally seems a good option on the face of it, but the interior is very heavy, and it was never designed with lots of lovely square space to mount batteries, but it would be a lovely build to see done.

Agreed - I was super-expanding on detail for the masses....

Black, 7 Seats, Towbar, Homelink, Enhanced Auto pilot with Summon and self park, Heated front seats, CCS Charger upgrade, MCU2 Upgrade, Falconwing Doors, Self opening / closing doors, Netflix, Spotify, toys, Air suspension, alcantara roof + lots of other stuff......

The 17 year old Driver Wagon 2015 Skoda Citigo Monte Carlo. Alloys, Power steering, Aircon, Leccy windows, Sat Nav, bluetooth, central locking, cup holders, 59 whole bhp. Million times better than my first car. Well jealous.....

The 0% BIK ha not yet been confirmed, I am holding out to (a) see if this actually happens and (b) get my current contract renewed as it runs out in 2 month, then maybe....

Not buying anything until after we've moved house though, and that's a whole other story

Anybody who bought shares around the time of the Model S's launch should be rubbing their hands together in the last couple of months! If you're a short-term trader then would be time to quit while ahead before the goings on in China affect the Shanghai factory's production?

Was over in Dublin yesterday (work) and got picked up by the supplier in his new Tesla S (P100D):

I asked him how has it been and he mentioned that has had it that the whole dashboard froze while he was reversing, looking at the camera and almost knocked over some school children as the image on the camera didn't update and show them!!!!

Plus, when it was time to be taken back to the airport, we all got in and the headlamps came on, but nothing on the screens.........
He put it in reverse, and it moved so proceeded to drive out of the carpark. After about 1 minute the dash showed it was rebooting and eventually came on.

Hmm........

Was pointed to this today - makes for an interesting view, if you want to compare range on some common-ish EV options (includes the Audi e-tron, Jag, Nissan, Merc, Kia, Tesla 3)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZH7V2tU3iFc

Tesla went the furthest but the Kia was 2nd for a more affordable option

The Kia is a great car, though sadly the supply is severely limited, so waiting time for them to date has been really long....

Default Any good? - possibly

I'm not sure how any other car would have reacted to this, but there's no doubt what these crash occupants think.
