69x2.5mm for the top one under the cap, 112x2.0 for the larger one in the pump body.

Here is a picture of the top half (on the left in this pic) of the fuel pump assembly which I'm referring to. MikkiJayne, the pump body you mention is this same one I'm referring to as fuel pump assembly? I just want to make sure before I place a order for the o-ring. ![]() I'm guessing these will work? this is the large o-ring and this is the smaller o-ring. |

I got the new replacement o-rings and the large o-ring for the top half of the fuel pump assembly fits! Here is a picture. Do I need to lubricate these o-rings to prevent damage during re-assembly?
I don't have a tool to install this new hose clamp (shown in picture below) that came with the new fuel pump gasket kit. So I ended up buying the standard (screw) hose clamps and I'm guessing these will be ok sitting in the gas tank and won't rust? Also what is this plastic hose for? I don't remember if it was connected to anything? What is the correct orientation of this o-ring for the lock ring? Last edited by Audifan; 9th November 2020 at 10:03 PM. That looks like a Clic-R clamp. You can buy the tool (Clic-R pliers) for less than a tenner to open and refit them.
They are used in other places, I encountered one on the PCV valve.

Thats a crimp clamp the same as CV boots use, not a clic-R. It needs a slightly more specialist tool, but a worm-drive hose clamp will work fine.
A smear of engine oil or petroleum jelly will work on the o-ring. The large seal for the top of the tank should have a lip at the top, like an upside-down top hat. Oh, the plastic pipe is the return I think, which should just be tucked in to the fuel pump housing. (edit - don't use petroleum jelly on rubber. That was terrible advice and is retracted!)
