I thought the D3 seats were wider than the D2 seats.

That PD lump is orders of magnitude more reliable than the 2.5 it replaced, makes more power / torque and is 100Kg lighter. It might be a downgrade from a petrol V8, but its a massive upgrade from the V6 TDI

My conversion will be a lot neater than that one
