sorry, misunderstood what you posted earlier - what year and spec is your a8?
edit - had a look at available 19" rims for the A8 and I THINK the ones you're talking about are 4E0 601 025AD which are 9x19" but the ET is 44 so they'll sit 9mm further into the arch (I think!) and will almost certainly look a little different too. I quick look at the inside of your spare should confirm ![]() Last edited by Adrian E; 22nd August 2011 at 05:29 PM. |

I wasn't near the car earlier so couldn't get to it to check Your bang on though and the wheel is the one you listed with and ET of 44 so that one is no good to me, will keep on looking. I have an immaculate spare with a slight squareness! ![]() Much appreciated cheers Glyn |

to be honest if it's balanced properly and is only marginally out of true then you'll never notice it on the car.
I had to have one of my 20" wheels straightened and although I could still see where it had been done, the balancing wasn't excessive to overcome that. Even when the wheel had a 50p edge to it you still couldn't feel it through the steering wheel! So long as it's structurally sound and holds pressure I wouldn't worry too much. |
