Ride on 20s on my S8 was better then on 18s.

The first things i'd do is check the spacers and make sure that your wheels are balanced correctly

Bumpy ride
Thanks for the suggestions guys....
I m not sure the answer is a simple one....but will slowly perservere and try to resolve. I have similar symptoms with the a8 sports and no spacers....as I did with the final edition 20s..However with the final editions the symptoms were more severe....I think as a I was putting more strain on the drivetrain.... I changed the discs and pads last year...so dont think it is them...but I will check with a micrometer and adjust accordingly....however i did notice that the rear discs looked quite worn...ie lip showing...but loads of life left in the pads.... I am more inclined it might be suspension related...possibly worn engine or gearbox mounts.....but is there an easy way of checking these????? However, I think I ll do something I havent done before and book it in with an audi specialist first to investigate it and take it from there....
