does seem a tad high. I had front and rear discs and pads done, a new rear caliper, new CV boot and major service all for approx £1200, and genuine Audi parts used. Local independant.

Just fitted a set of rear discs and pads to my D3 and cost just under £100

Euro car parts were under 300 quid for discs and pads (pagid) for My D3 all round, and those were the more expensive 'big' discs. Then 2 hours labour to do all 4, maybe 3 at worst.

Calipers are expensive. If it is Audi genuine parts the cost looks OK for me. I'd change brake hoses too.
