Has anyone got a roof rack I could borrow in August?
Being a bit cheeky here
 Off surfing in August and will be using the A8 to get there (North Wales). Last year when we went we took the board, but used fabric roof rack. Basically left the roof looking worst for wear  So - was wondering if any kind souls could lend me one for the 2 weeks I'm away. If not, then I will use the fabric on again but see if I can do any mods with them to reduce the roof damage. Cheers

I bought one last year from Halfords, the weekend before the gearbox failed - it had been fitted and tested, but never used due to aforementioned gearbox.
I took it back to Halfords and got a refund, think it was about £100 or thereabouts. Will try to find the photos

we used to buy a hot plate from costco every year for a regular party then return it after, last year a friend at holiday inn gave me one of their huge ones.

Yes, I have a 2 bar roof rack that you can borrow. I'm going to be at Manchester Airport next Friday afternoon/evening so, if that's not too far, I could bring it down. I'm sure we could work out the return at some point. Let me know
