You need to have a 'daily' car in your fleet to qualify for a classic policy and as said insure it on a limited mileage per annum. There is also no NCB on classic policies so you will get a much cheaper quote. I recently had a quote for a 1996 XJ6 4.0 litre which came in at £123.00 for 3000 miles
