According to my local station the 10p offer has ended - had to be there between 10-4 when attendants on forecourt. Said its a pretty regular thing though!

Just purchased 50 litres of Shell's finest, my first venture into high(er) octane fuel motoring.......let's see if I notice a difference at all.

It worked out at £1.37 a litre with the discount, which is less than what I've paid quite recently for standard unleaded.......I don't know why it's taken me so long to try it to be honest.

As my wife discovered yesterday the 5p off voucher is "*participating Shell service stations only" and it appears that not many are participating.

The one we use regularly definitely isn't and checking my area the nearest one is an expensive Motorway Services.

You have to wonder what the point of these 'secret' promotions is?

"Only between 10am - 4pm; participating stations only; vouchers from forecourt staff only; don't know anything about it; bar code doesn't work; now expired."

Can anyone let me know why Shell seem to think a promotion that no-one knows about is a good idea?

I presume if your local station does not come up in the search feature on the voucher page then they are non-participating?

it comes up with nothing for Glasgow, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool or even the Dalston and Holborn examples. And the station locator on line isn't working. Think I'll stick with BP - you get Nectar points at every station all the time.

Tescos is offering 10p a ltr off vouchers for every £60 spent instore. Lasts to 26th May. whilst you may not want to stick (even Momentum) in your 8 its ok for other runabouts. or diesel things. The Laird might consider it for his badged-up lawn-mower.
