Jim, wood on handles always don't match other wood. It is more visible on some type of woods and less visible on other types. Myrtle wood is the one that doesn't match completely (in my opinion).
I think the reason why wood doesn't match is because Audi used different suppliers for handles and for other wood. I don't know this for a fact by the way, this is just my guess.
Did your car come with myrtle wood from factory?
