when you say you want them staggered do you mean you actually want the rear wheels to be wider than the front wheels (mine are 10.5" rears with 295 tyres and 255 front on 9" wheels) or do you want to just space out the rear ones to look more like a staggered set?

You do need to make sure if your wheels are staggered front and rear that the rolling radius of the front wheels and tyres are no more than 1% difference in diameter than the rears or you will get issues with the abs sensors / quattro system throwing up faults as it thinks the wheels are slipping due to the imbalance.
