New filter only needs to be nipped up hand tight, i have struggled to undo a filter i've put on before they do get tight.

Yea, I was searching for something like that..
Mine is a v6 FWD tho, and most guides I´ve been able to see are 4.2 Quattros.
But maybe the procedure is similar ?

I´m going on a 800 Mile roundtrip over Christmas so I hope it´ll be fine for a couple of more miles..
