Small trailer and detachable tow bar for camping?

Thing about your A/S8 is that you'd need to find someone who really understood what you've done to it to appreciate the value. To the 'run of the mill' buyer, it's probably a 'highly customised A8' and they'd be worried about insurance.

Some of the 'real' S8s are going for less than £3K on ebay (although there's a 'fake' FE for £8K, that's been for sale for ages). I think you'll find it hard to get £4-5K for it (just my opinion) and that's not really a fair price.

Amnd you know you love all us guys too much!

I find it hard because I enjoy meeting the team
and consider them part of the family as does hannah
we all enjoyed it .if I could find someone that can look
at the electric bits of the car I won't sell. But audi
won't look at my car .can't afford it anyway. I wish I had
someone to help me checking the car over.by the
way no problems with gearbox planning to take car
to mackies in july depending

If you can, get yourself down to Unit 20 near Liverpool or MRC in Banbury, both are excellent and have the uncanny ability to spot loads of little issues others may have missed. Also they know how to do some very tricky repairs I would never trust to Audi dealers.

Should have put the gas tank on the roof rather than the boot eh? Just had a thought what do American's call a gas tank?

The roof bars and box are a great way to open a bit of space in the boot if needed. The addition of the towbar really makes a difference, the 8 is a great tow car.

We managed 5 up and all our camping kit for a week in the south of France last year using boot and roofbox, but i was rammed.
