Yes! easily. In the passenger footwell behind the chipboard there is a relay box.
One of those relays is the speed sensitive steering relay. I will check tonight which one it is and let you know.
When you take that out the steering will become heavier at all speeds, but to me it feels more accurate. Its not connected to the ECU diagnostics so no fault codes will be stored.
The relay stopped working on my old S8 and I realised I quite liked the slightly heavier steering. On my new S8 it was the first thing I did, just pulled that relay.
