![]() New nearside cat fitted today; the rear lambda sensor also needed replacing as it wouldn't come out. They did extract it eventually on the bench but the threads were damaged and it wasn't reuseable. The old cat is rather a "hollow shell" with a lump of something rattling around inside. It has to go back to the supplier as part of the exchange process but my garage reckon there's not a lot inside it of any value! Drives quietly and smoothly but I did get one "hint" of the sluggish throttle issue at a sharp right turn at a downhill junction, so only time will tell there....

Added Auto-dim mirror, Leather seats, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer. And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850! |
