I had similar issue not long after getting my D3, MMI decided whilst using Satnav to start constantly rebooting and it would not stop even after removing the key.
To fix mine, I simply disconnected the battery and left the car for 5 mins and then reconnected it. Solved the problem 18 months ago and it's never happened since.
