I wouldn't be so sure about Audi directly either. See here.

Lots of similar stories.. was one about a monaro that had been ragged, but the owner had one of those driver cams in it

Cheers guys.
Fortunately only surface damage to rear bumper, should have a quote tomorrow.

The garage is Revo in Daventry (They were fitting new discs, Pads & a gearbox service)
To be fair to them, accidents happen, we all **** up from time to time. The important thing is how its dealt with and so far they've been spot on.

They were unaware of the prang and shocked when they heard. They've stressed that this is not the way Revo treat their customers and that they will see me right.

It'll soon be obvious if they are as sincere as I believe them to be, and |I'll update everyone when there's a result.

Its no big deal, but I must be emotionally attached to the car. Woke up the other night having dreamt that gallons of blue fluid were leaking out of her. And on opening the bonnet found a big plank jammed down the side of the engine and the coolant reservoir loose and flapping about

Not aware of the accident? Did they not say that a Vectra crashed into the back of it on the M1?

I would still want an explanation for the extra miles which aren't necessary for a brake and gearbox oil change. Not impressed, James (Mkoneman) is the only person I trust with my car, excellent mechanic and you all know his (trophy winning) standard of work.

Nick, I trust you know a good body shop in the area? As I'm local I feel I should recommend one but I don't really know any. I suppose an Audi one would be the safest bet?

The person driving my car at the time of the crash wrote and told me, but omitted to tell Revo. Apparently
I have questioned the additional mileage, but they have so far blanked me on this one
Repair wise, there's a place called Shorade, nearby in Cannock. They do a lot of exotics and did a good job on my sons A4 a couple of years ago.

LOL maybe I'll soon be able to recommend a good repair shop to you. Lets hope so and lets hope you never need it

So many garages are the same

Mileage they have done is unacceptable, and to be honest mate, sounds like the person driving who conveniently forgot to tell his employers, has ragged the arse off your car.
