all avenues with the engine have been tried and tested all appear OK and within limits i have now looked at the transmission for the fault the fault manifests at around 4k+ revs it seems the car holds back and doesn't know weather to shift or not this happens for a short while till you back off and then the gearbox shifts into limp home mode till you switch off and restart it has had a recon g/box and torque converter 6K miles ago does anyone know anything more on this topic as any help be fantastic.... heres a small diagnostic report on the transmission after the short drive and a limp home mode.... any help be gratefully appreciated....

Brake switch error is nothing to worry about, if you press brake pedal after switching on ignition and before running scan it will not be there.

Load signal error is usually linked to incorrect MAF readings.

And over-revving error if it only appears in TCU and not in ECU is likely to be issue with input speed sensor in gearbox, possibly wrong combination of TCU and gearbox. As the gearbox have been replaced it might have different impulse count per revolution than what TCU is programmed for therefor misreading input speed.

not bothered by the brake pedal switch as thats normally as you suggest the MAF has been checked using VCDS and all reading live and idle are all correct with the TCU and ECU that over reving does appear in both but not mis fires or any other things are recorded along with it checked the crank and cam sensor for reading all within parameters checked all injectors coils etc using elsawin for all data readings the inly thing is like you said the TCU and G/box not in sync and wrong readings is this software coding a audi job only

had a play with the transmission recoded it from 00101 to 00111 seems to have made it a lil bit better but not much its still a bit jerky when in drive and pushed beyond 4k rpm and kick down used if in tiptronic you can go right upto the rev limiter almost (don't wanna push to hard) and then change with no jerking i checked the engine RPM with gearbox input RPM and output RPM the engine and input RPM match slightly with a small discrepancy manageable but on the output RPM it seems to start off matching but when you push it the revs drop so if input is 4k RPM output is around 2K to 2.5K so seems to drop is this normal or have i got a sensor issue in the box no faults recorded other than the over revving on the jerking MAF is running normal within the elsawin specified 0.3% allowable difference between actual and specified in the address codes on engine any further help e of a great help thanks
