Cooling system problems?
I thought I'd better continue this in the D2 section.
My car went in to Audi Technik yesterday to have the cooling system checked, but it came back 'all clear'. But, the car is still running fine at motorway speeds, sticking to a steady 90C, but then in slower traffic the needle starts to rise towards the next mark on the gauge (BTW, what do those marks represent - see photo - they're not obvious intervals to me, so I don't know if it's heading up to 95C or 100C). IIRC (and I may not be right) it used to sit at 90C all the time. What about other D2s out there - a steady 90C regardless, or does it move up and down a bit?
