D2 roof bars

I've just lost the use of a 4x4 to carry around my bikes so i've got to convert the '8 to a bike rack!

I'd love to have a genuine audi or thule set of roof bars but just cant afford to shell that much out... There are a number of options on ebay but does anyone have any experience with particular brands?

Or does someone have a set for sale!?
